Role Overview Reporting to the GM, the Sr. Account Executive on Golf Digest’s Sales team will lead strategic revenue partnerships across Golf Digest’s multi‑platform ecosystem, including digital media, social, video, events, branded content, experiential activations, subscriptions, and emerging consumer products. Accountabilities Own a significant annual revenue target and drive the development of strategic partnerships across Golf Digest’s portfolio. Develop and execute account growth strategies that maximize revenue and long‑term client value. Build, maintain, and expand executive‑level relationships with senior brand marketers, agency leadership, and key decision‑makers. Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, identifying business objectives and developing integrated marketing solutions that leverage Golf Digest’s full ecosystem. Drive new business development through proactive prospecting, category expansion, market intelligence, and strategic outreach to prospective clients and agencies. Identify whitespace opportunities and cultivate new revenue streams across existing and emerging advertising categories. Lead the development and negotiation of complex, multi‑platform partnerships, including sponsorships, branded content programs, custom media initiatives, event integrations, and long‑term strategic agreements. Partner with executive leadership across Content, Marketing, Product, Consumer Revenue, Events, and Business Development to shape commercial strategy and bring new revenue opportunities to market. Provide strategic leadership and mentorship to junior sales team members and cross‑functional partners. Lead forecasting, pipeline management, and revenue planning responsibilities. Maintain accurate reporting through Salesforce and provide leadership with visibility into revenue opportunities, risks, category trends, and market dynamics. Represent Golf Digest at industry events, client meetings, conferences, tournaments, and corporate functions. Act as a senior ambassador for the brand and identify opportunities to strengthen Golf Digest’s position within the marketplace. Qualifications & Experience Minimum 5 years of media sales experience with a proven sales track record. Experience closing complex, multi‑platform deals that span digital, print, event sponsorships, and branded content. Working knowledge of all‑media digital and ad intelligence, certification, measurement tools, etc. Excellent executive‑level presentation, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment. Positive attitude, team‑player mindset, and self‑motivation to exceed sales targets. Thorough knowledge of the digital marketplace and sales, media, and brand marketing processes. Capacity to solve problems proactively and lead collaborative efforts across multiple teams. Compensation Base pay: $119,630.00 - $222,170.00 per year, plus potential bonuses, incentives, and awards.
