Role: SAP HANA Consultant
Location: Richmond, Virginia
Duration: 5+ Months MUST HAVE:
• Knowledge/experience with Solution Manager 7.2 - technical monitoring, business process monitoring, CHARM, etc
• S/4 HANA and SAP's strategic direction
• Integration layer with SAP (ex. PI, GW, Webservices)
• Prior ABAP experience and another programming language
• Technical Change management experience
• Experience with Unix and/or Linux
• Experience with SAP R/3 Basis Administration functions
Required Skills and Experience:
• Qualification: Minimum 5 years experience, Bachelor's Degree.
• Certification: Has or seeking IAF level 1.
• Should be proficient in foundation, People Leadership, client acquisition & development, service & delivery and business leadership.
• Should be experienced in technology awareness & leveraging and innovation & growth capability.
Maintain current documentation of:
o SAP Landscape diagrams
o SAP Landscape inventory
o SAP system and component versions
• Data administration
o SAP Service Marketplace System Data Administration
o CMDB data administration (ServiceNow)
• Cross-functional ABAP Support and minor development, e.g.:
o SAP Security
o Solution Manager
o SAP Gateway
o SAP Archiving
o Other cross-functional areas
• Monitoring
o System logs
o Application logs
o Solution Manager Alerts
o Solution Manager EarlyWatch reports
o Solution Manager Service Level reports
o System storage growth
o System RAM and CPU utilization
• General SAP Administration
o Opening connections to SAP
o Opening systems for manual configuration
o SAP Gateway and SICF Service Administration
o Transport imports to non-production systems
• Testing (e.g. after maintenance)
o Solution Manager
o SAP Gateway
• Solution Manager Administration
o Solution Documentation
o RFC Administration
o SLD, LMDB, and SMSY administration
o CHARM Admin
o Test Management
