The Role Do you find your purpose in empowering others? As a Café Ambassador you will be the face of CapitalOne’s mission to change banking for good. You won’t be behind a teller line or a glass window; instead you’ll move throughout the Café, bridging the gap between digital innovation and human connection. In this role you will act as a high‑end service specialist and a guide to digital banking, building a community by bringing CapitalOne’s mission to life within a vibrant community hub. What You’ll Actually Do Be a Natural Connector: proactively engage with guests in a high‑energy environment that serves as both a community space and a local coffee shop. Serve as a Brand Advocate: share the value of CapitalOne’s products and services through genuine conversation rather than transactions, with no sales quotas or high‑pressure tactics. Simplify the Complex: guide customers through our digital ecosystem, helping them master mobile tools and troubleshoot tech challenges. Facilitate Purposeful Impact: host and support local events that promote financial health and act as a brand steward within CapitalOne’s established programs and community partnerships. Advocate & Resolve: advocate for customers, problem‑solve, and own issue resolution in alignment with compliance and regulatory requirements, including de‑escalation of complaints or escalated situations. Act as a Culture Carrier: foster an inclusive environment where every guest feels welcome and collaborate with teammates, paying close attention to detail, positivity, and flexibility. Work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays; hours and days are subject to change. Attend required training sessions, which may occur on a schedule differing from the primary shift. Lifting up to 25 pounds; moving/standing for extended periods. Maintain regular and consistent attendance. Basic Qualifications High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification. At least 1 year of Retail, Sales, or Customer Service experience. Preferred Qualifications Associate’s degree. 2+ years of banking experience. 2+ years of Retail or Customer‑Facing experience. Proficiency in G‑Suite. Strong written and oral communication skills. Salary: Tukwila, WA: $52,624 – $57,408. Candidates hired at other locations will receive the pay range associated with that location.
