Requirements
- AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS required; NIHSS required prior to start
- A minimum of 2 years of experience
- Experience in a large trauma level 1, teaching facility
- Specialty experience in Cardiology with exposure to post cath., stemis, and structural heart patients
- EPIC experience from within the past 2 years is required

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in progressive care settings, monitoring vital signs and patient conditions closely.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Support patients recovering from cardiac and surgical procedures, ensuring a safe recovery environment.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families about treatment plans, medications, and health management.
- Float to various units as required, adapting to the needs of each assignment.

Compliance / Notes
- Floating required among units within the central pool.
- Must be flexible with scheduling, including working minimum of every other weekend.
- Public transportation is not accessible; reliable transportation is required.
