Metal Plating Chemical Engineer
Become a pivotal member of our client's team as a Metal Plating Chemical Engineer and contribute significantly to electroplating processes. Our client is looking for a meticulous professional with a chemistry background to ensure that metal parts meet the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Perform electroplating processes on metal parts, adhering to specifications and quality standards.
- Monitor plating solutions, chemicals, and materials carefully.
- Conduct tests and inspections to guarantee coating quality.
- Maintain detailed records of all plating processes and solutions.
- Collaborate with suppliers on process improvements and troubleshooting.
- Provide guidance on chemical processes and safety practices.
- Complete environmental reporting requirements.
- Direct and oversee production processes and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field.
- Experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in metal plating.
- Proficiency in chemical analysis techniques.
- Ability to lift 35 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Strong knowledge of chemistry as it relates to plating.
