Job Description TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Altoona, Pennsylvania. 40 hours per week, 8‑hour shifts for a travel assignment. The right Rad Tech must have 1 year of experience. Read below for additional requirements. Responsibilities Use diagnostic imaging equipment to obtain accurate images. Prepare and care for patients undergoing radiologic testing. Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, explain procedures and provide reassurance. Follow physician orders for image acquisition. Position patients correctly and adjust imaging equipment. Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure by taking appropriate protective precautions. Calibrate imaging equipment. Prepare results for physician review. Maintain accurate patient records. Understand and use the McKesson PACS system. Requirements Minimum 1 year experience as a Radiology Technologist. ARRT (R) National Certification, BLS certification. State‑specific licensing when required. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for long periods. Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
