Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU

Position Summary Provides professional nursing skills in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing care for assigned patients. The Registered Nurse provides care consistent with the standards of professional nursing. Provides leadership and supervision to CNA/SNA and other healthcare workers as assigned. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assesses each patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural, nutritional, and functional needs Plans and implements a plan of care with the appropriate nursing interventions specific to the age population served Assesses educational needs of patient/families and implements teaching strategies Evaluates care given including the patient response Documents nursing care in the medical record Provides delegation and supervision to CNA, SNA and other healthcare workers who assist the nurse in the plan of care Administers medications and treatments as prescribed Promotes a clean and safe environment of care, utilizing the SAFE error prevention habits Provides the highest standard of privacy and confidentiality in matters involving patients, coworkers, and the hospital by abiding by the Standards of Conduct Required Qualifications CPR certified Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois or eligible for licensure per Nurse Practice Act Work Shift Details Nights -12 Hours, 7p - 7a Benefits Medical, Dental and Vision plans Life Insurance Flexible Spending Account Other voluntary benefit plans PTO and Sick time 401(k) plan with a match Wellness program Tuition Reimbursement Registry employees who meet eligibility may participate in our 401(k) Savings plan with a potential match. The final pay rate offered may be more than the posted range based on several factors including but not limited to licensure, certifications, work experience, education, knowledge, demonstrated abilities, internal equity, market data, and more.
