Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Meditech is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Louisiana license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: SimpliFi Program - Willis-Knighton Health System.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:

• First time travelers must have 2 years of perm staff RN experience in acute care
• Previous Telemetry Experience (Tele RN). Non-titrating Cardiac drips, cardiac rhythm interpretation (will confirm Tele tech findings), drains, wound vacs, traches (charge or RT will manage), central lines, catheters, HD catheters, peritoneal dialysis (dialysis RN will manage)

Required Credentials: Traveler will be required to PASS an EKG competency exam as part of compliance, prior to arrival

Shift & Scheduling:

• Schedule: 7a 3/2 rotation
• Weekend rotation: every other
• Will work 4 days one week and 3 days the next week – this is mandatory
• Holiday Expectations: will work 2/3 holidays

Floating Requirements: Travelers will float first

7 days maximum time off

2 references required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required
