This position may be eligible for a Sign‑On Bonus. Job Summary and Qualifications The Special Procedures / Interventional Radiology Tech works under the direction of the Imaging Director and performs duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures that may apply ionizing radiation for the purpose of detecting pathology in patients. The technician regulates the equipment used to expose the X‑ray film and/or digital receptors, completes the appropriate paperwork and computer applications, and organizes and prepares the images for interpretation by the Radiologist. The technician operates equipment safely and maintains ALARA. Qualifications Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
