Job Title

Travel RN – Stepdown / PCU (Night Shift)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Onsite | 10-Week Assignment | Projected Start: July 13, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within a Stepdown / Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting under applicable nursing standards
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, recognizing and responding to changes in patient status
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered, documenting accurately in the medical record
• Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and health management

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in North Carolina or a compact state
• Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience in a PCU, Stepdown, or IMC setting
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS may be required per unit standards
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a high-acuity hospital environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a Stepdown or Progressive Care Unit
• Familiarity with cardiac monitoring and telemetry in an intermediate care setting
• Experience working within a large, regional referral or trauma center environment
