Lieutenant Position

The County of Yolo is recruiting to fill one (1) regular, full-time positions in the class of Lieutenant at the Yolo County Sheriff's Office.

Under general direction, plans, directs, and supervises the personnel and activities of a major functional operation in the Sheriff's Department's Office.

Positions allocated to this classification are distinguished from the Captain classification by the overall responsibilities for the supervision of a major functional operation while the latter manages a major division in the Sheriff's Office.
