This is a great opportunity for a caregiver looking for a consistent weekday morning schedule while making a meaningful difference in a client's daily life.Caregiver ResponsibilitiesProvide companionship and engage the client in a supportive mannerMaintain a safe environment for the clientProvide gait belt assistance as neededAssist with wheelchair mobility and safetyCheck and change briefs as neededProvide light housekeeping related to the client's careAccompany the client to physical therapy on scheduled therapy daysCommunicate effectively with the client's wife and CareOne Senior Care team regarding the client's needs and careThe client's wife will be present in the home and available to assist as needed.Qualifications & SkillsPrevious caregiving or home care experience preferredExperience with gait belt assistanceExperience assisting clients who use wheelchairsAbility to provide personal care, including brief changesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailDependable, reliable, and punctualAbility to work independently while also being a strong team playerCompassionate and professional approach to client careRequirementsMust meet all CareOne Senior Care hiring requirementsMust successfully pass a criminal background checkMust have reliable transportation to and from the client's homeMust be able to consistently work the scheduled Monday–Friday shiftsWhy Join CareOne Senior Care?At CareOne Senior Care, our caregivers play an important role in helping clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes.
