Location: Nashville, TN Employment Type: Full-Time Department: Operations Work Environment: Fully Onsite Overview Quanta Nashville is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Operator 1 to join our Operations team. This role is responsible for supporting daily warehouse and production activities, including inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping, receiving, and materials handling. The ideal candidate is organized, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This position offers the opportunity to work cross-functionally with Quality, Warehouse, Materials, and Operations teams while contributing to efficient production support and inventory accuracy. Responsibilities Warehouse & Inventory Operations Pick, transact, cycle count, and manage inventory according to work instructions. Ensure parts are accurately transferred, transacted in SAP, labeled, and packaged to specification. Complete stocking functions and update inventory systems, including QWMS. Prepare parts and materials to meet daily production support deadlines. Coordinate internal material movements and support shipping and receiving activities. Shipping & Receiving Build and pack shipments while ensuring proper labeling and documentation. Schedule internal and external movements of materials and inventory. Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation activities. Coordinate with offsite personnel regarding inventory and cycle count requirements. Work closely with Quality, Warehouse, Materials, and Operations teams. Communicate professionally via email with Program Managers, Supervisors, Department Managers, and customer contacts. Provide shipment and inventory status updates as required. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes and efficiencies. Perform additional duties as assigned. Requirements Must Have Prior experience in a warehouse, inventory, shipping, or logistics environment. Good email communication skills. Experience using Microsoft Excel at a basic to intermediate level. Basic computer skills including Microsoft Outlook and Windows-based systems. Basic math skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Ability to adapt quickly and work in a changing environment. Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements. Ability to regularly lift 30–50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods. Ability to work on cement floors throughout the shift. Ability to operate a pallet jack. Ability to report onsite daily (this is a fully onsite position). Ability to become forklift certified if required. Nice to Have High School Diploma or equivalent. Forklift operating experience or current certification. Experience working with SAP.
