OSP Fiber Project Manager

Required Skills

8+ years of OSP FTTH/FTTx engineering experience
Knowledge of telecommunications construction practices and local requirements governing telecom facility placement
Experience supporting large-volume fiber projects and multiple duct placements
Familiarity with the MRE (Manual for Railway Engineering) as it relates to fiber construction
Understanding of ArcGIS for excavation grading and scaling

Job Description

Insight Global is hiring a experienced OSP Project Manager to join a telecom construction PM team based in Wauwatosa, WI. This position is remote , but will require infrequent travel to the office and/or project sites. This position will support complex fiber construction programs, network expansion, OSP engineering standards, and cross-functional project execution.

Responsibilities

Establish and maintain OSP design standards, engineering guidelines, and best practices
Lead network planning for market expansion, capacity growth, and multi-year build programs
Oversee complex projects including road crossings, underground conversions, and joint-use disputes
Maintain relationships with vendors and pole owners and assist with master joint-use agreement negotiations
Improve design, permitting, and cost-efficiency processes
Coordinate engineering, construction, operations, and regulatory/legal teams
Review high-value construction packages and budget estimates
Mentor OSPE I-III employees
