Physician Hospitalist

Hospital-employed Hospitalist group seeks additional Internal Medicine residency trained physicians to join a robust, rapidly growing practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide coverage for unassigned patients who present to the ED requiring inpatient care, care for transfers, and in-hospital consults.
• Admit and co-manage adult patients in critical care with intensivist support.
• Work 12‑hour shifts (7p.m.–7a.m.) with a minimum of 12 shifts per month.
• Maintain a flexible, individualized schedule; average daily census is 9–10 patients per provider on night shift.
• Benefit from 24/7 pulmonary/critical‑care support for all CC admissions.
• Receive 24/7 subspecialty support, including in‑house radiology physician, for all specialties.

Qualifications

• Internal Medicine residency trained physicians.
• Board‑certified Internal Medicine Hospitalist experience preferred.
