Inergroup is hiring immediately for First Shift Forklift Operator jobs in Fairfield, OH. As a Warehouse Forklift Operator, you will hand pick orders, operate a forklift to transport products within a warehouse environment, and complete other general labor activities. Weekly pay starting at $18/hr and great benefits available! Skills and Qualifications:
- At least 1 year experience operating: Sit-down Forklift, Stand-up Forklift, Cherry Picker, and Reach Truck
- Experienced with MS Excel to export, review, and clean up spreadsheets relative to product inventory data
- Well versed in receiving, loading and unloading, stocking, and inventory control.
- Able to read and understand a BOL in order to confirm proper delivery amounts and delivery locations.
- Able to operate a computer for receiving incoming products into the system as well as making other inventory related transactions and conducting basic mathematical equations.
- Ability to work well with others in a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Must be able to stand for the entire shift and walk throughout the warehouse.
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to punctuality and attendance.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Load and unload freight in an efficient and safe manner
- Move product to storage area with proper equipment and efficiently stack and store merchandise in the appropriate areas
- Pick orders for shipment and assemble merchandise to be shipped
- Process orders including picking, checking, sorting, consolidating freight
- Wrapping pallets, packing loading and shipment confirmation of customer orders
- Operate material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Inspect products for defects, damages.
- Arrange products in the warehouse to maximize space and accessibility, making it easier to locate items.
- Monday – Friday and some overtime on Saturdays may be required
- 7:00am – 3:30pm
