This 24 bed unit provides a dynamic working environment that specializes in gynecology, sarcoma, thoracic, breast, and plastic surgery patients. Our nursing staff provides knowledgeable and skilled care within a unique interdisciplinary team. We offer quarterly educational workshops. The Ideal Candidate: • The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications: • 1 year of inpatient hospital experience • Medical Surgery experience as a registered nurse • Good customer service for patient interaction Responsibilities: • Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, and evaluate the care of cancer patients and families. Integrates patient and family centered care and the quality caring factors into practice • Identifies, documents, and provides patient education based on learning needs of the patient • Participates in Evidence based improvement activities related to area of practice • Participates in professional development based on the nursing professionals standards, regulatory requirements, and job expectations Credentials and Qualifications: • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). In lieu of Bachelors, an Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN) plus 1 year of relevant experience may be considered. • Registered Nurse (RN) - current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of FL. • Basic Life Support (BLS) CertificationSalary Range$35.05 - $52.56Salary ranges posted for this position represent the expected base pay range for the role.
