Base pay range $200,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from Selby Jennings AVP Recruitment Consultant - Investment Management at Selby Jennings Job Description: Our client is a $30Bn fund that is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Long/Short Corporate Credit Analyst to join a dynamic fundamental credit team in New York. The ideal candidate will work across High Yield (HY) and distressed credit as a generalist, providing tactical insights and strategies to optimize our investment portfolio. Key Responsibilities: Conduct in-depth credit analysis and research on corporate issuers across various sectors. Identify and evaluate investment opportunities in high yield and distressed credit markets. Develop and maintain financial models to support investment decisions. Monitor and analyze market trends, economic data, and industry developments. Collaborate with portfolio managers to develop and implement investment strategies. Prepare detailed deliverables for the investment committee Manage and mitigate risk through thorough due diligence and ongoing monitoring of investments. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA designation preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate credit analysis, with a focus on high yield and distressed credit. Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
