Provide individual and small-group assistance to reinforce learning and encourage positive behaviors. Help students develop social and emotional skills, using positive strategies (no physical holds). Supervise students during classroom activities, transitions, recess, and lunch. Prepare materials, organize learning spaces, and help keep the classroom running smoothly. Observe and record student progress, sharing feedback with teachers. Foster a safe, respectful, and engaging environment for all students. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; further education or training preferred. At least one year of experience working with children (school, childcare, camp, etc.). Good stamina and energy—able to keep up with active young children. Positive attitude, reliability, and a team spirit. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. (If applicable) Must meet state or district paraprofessional certification requirements.
