Certified Pharmacy TechnicianPay: $20-$25/hr (dependent on experience)We are seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician for our outpatient pharmacy at the Main Campus. The role involves filling prescriptions, packing, labeling, clerical filing, entry of prescriptions, and managing inventory. This is a high-volume pharmacy setting where you will work closely with a dedicated team of professionals.ResponsibilitiesFill prescriptions accurately and efficiently.Pack and label medications for distribution.Perform clerical filing and manage prescription entry.Maintain and manage inventory levels.Provide excellent customer service to all patients.Collaborate with a team of pharmacy technicians, medication access team, and pharmacists.Essential SkillsCertified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification.Proficiency in filling and refilling prescriptions.Experience in retail pharmacy settings.Strong data entry skills.Ability to handle inventory management.Excellent labeling and medication refill skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExceptional customer service skills.Strong communication skills.Proficiency with computer systems and software.Work EnvironmentThis role is based in an outpatient pharmacy on the main campus, located on the 1st floor of the Visitor Parking Garage #1. The pharmacy operates similarly to a retail pharmacy and handles high volumes, filling 1200-1500 prescriptions daily, with 300-400 prescriptions filled by the Parata machine. You will work with a team of 35-40 professionals, including pharmacy technicians, medication access team members, and pharmacists. The shift schedule rotates every week, with shifts from 6:45am-3:15pm, 8:30am-5pm, 10am-6:30pm, and 11:45am-8:15pm. Holiday shifts are from 8:45am-5:15pm, and you can expect to work around one holiday every two years.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
