Inpatient Rehab Data Collection Specialist

Location: San Antonio, TX

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day Shift: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

Job Description: The Inpatient Rehab Data Collection Specialist will support the Rehab unit by collecting and reporting data essential for patient evaluations and treatment outcomes. The role requires initiative and knowledge of inpatient rehab practices.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in patient evaluations and treatments focusing on Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, nurses, and support staff.
• Utilize Meditech EMR for data entry and monitoring patient progress.
• Participate in treatment planning sessions.
• Document and report findings accurately to optimize patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Basic knowledge of inpatient rehab procedures and treatments.
• Ability to work flexibly as part of a team.
• BLS certification is required.
• Preferred: Previous experience in inpatient rehab.
• Willingness to work a minimum of 2 weekends per 4-week period.
