Olive Tree Academy is looking for a loving, energetic, dependable teacher to join our growing school family!

We are a small school serving students from Pre-K through 7th grade. We believe children learn best when they feel loved, seen, known, and cared for, and we are looking for a teacher who believes the same.

This is more than just a teaching position. We want someone who genuinely enjoys children, loves creating fun learning experiences, and wants to be part of a close-knit school community.

What You'll Do

• Create a safe, welcoming, and positive classroom environment
• Plan and teach engaging, age-appropriate lessons
• Teach core academic subjects according to Olive Tree Academy's curriculum and expectations
• Provide hands-on learning, activities, projects, and opportunities for students to learn through play and exploration when appropriate
• Build positive relationships with students and families
• Maintain classroom routines, organization, and cleanliness
• Monitor student progress and communicate concerns and successes with parents and administration
• Provide appropriate support and encouragement for students with different learning styles and needs
• Participate in school events, family activities, and special programs
• Work collaboratively with other Olive Tree Academy teachers and staff
• Follow school policies, procedures, and safety expectations

Teaching certification and/or classroom experience is preferred , but we also value the right heart, attitude, and ability to connect with children.

Schedule

Monday–Thursday | 8:00 AM–3:30 PM

Additional hours may occasionally be needed for school events, professional development, or special activities.
