Billing & Payroll Clerk
Pay: $21.00-$23.50/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM (30-minute lunch)
Location: Lodi, CA
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing Clerk to support billing, customer service, driver payroll, and administrative functions in a fast-paced transportation environment.
Responsibilities
- Process freight paperwork and generate accurate invoices.
- Handle customer billing inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
- Balance driver settlement sheets for payroll processing.
- Maintain billing records and filing systems.
- Prepare and distribute invoices, tickets, and freight bills.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and reporting requirements.
- Assist with month-end and payroll deadlines.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- 1-3 years of billing experience; transportation or freight industry experience preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and billing software.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Additional Requirements
- Saturday shifts are required several times per month to support payroll and month-end billing deadlines.
