Athletic PE Director

We are looking for an Athletic PE Director for an international school in Beijing. This position is available from the upcoming 2026-27 school year starting in August 2026.About the schoolThis is an international school located in Haidian. The school offers a combination of the national curriculum and US Common core to its students in elementary and middle school, and US Common core, AP, IGCSE and A-Level in high school. Job detailsManage K-12 sports programs, management administration of the school’s physical education and recreational physical activities. Serve as official ISAC representative, ensure league compliance, oversee team operation, coach management and student sports development. Develop and implement a long-term vision for the school’s athletics and sports programs, ensuring alignment with the school’s educational philosophy and student development goals.Establish clear standards for student-athlete conduct, coach professionalism, parent sideline behavior, and overall sportsmanship across all athletic activities.Participate in the recruitment, supervision, training, and ongoing development of PE teachers, coaches, and related athletic staff.Standardize daily teaching, coaching practices, professional ethics, and expectations across the sports department.Review students’ academic eligibility and participation requirements, while promoting fair play, discipline, teamwork, and a positive sporting culture.Ensure all sports facilities, venues, and equipment meet appropriate safety standards, and maintain emergency action plans for all athletic locations and activities.Represent the school in ISAC-related affairs, including league meetings, tournaments, registrations, reporting, and communication with conference officials.Ensure all athletic teams comply with ISAC rules, athlete eligibility requirements, match regulations, and tournament procedures.Manage the athletics budget, including ISAC fees, sports equipment, transportation, travel costs, and other program-related expenses.Inspect, maintain, and coordinate the use of sports venues, facilities, and equipment to support safe and effective program delivery.Communicate effectively with school leadership, parents, peer schools, coaches, and ISAC officials to support smooth operations and maintain the school’s reputation within the conference.Job requirementsBachelor’s degree in sports or education related majors3+ years sports administration experience in international schoolsFamiliar with ISAC rules and tournament operationGood English communication, budget and event arranging abilityAble to work on weekends and travel for competitions Salary and benefitsAnnual salary is negotiable commensurate with experience and qualificationsMonthly housing allowance of 8,800 RMB or free on-campus lodgingPaid summer and winter holiday and public holidaysContract fulfillment bonusInternational cover health Insurance for teachers and their dependentsSocial Insurance & Medical InsuranceFlight to school from point of origin and relocation allowanceVisa fees are covered by the schoolAnnual flight allowance3 meals free for school daysEducation for dependents (5-18 years)Professional development opportunitiesRich staff activities, clubs.
