Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a comprehensive range of ultrasound studies, such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Ensure patient's comfort and safety throughout procedures, elucidating each stage with kindness and clarity
• Collaborate seamlessly with radiologists and referring doctors to ensure the delivery of top-quality diagnostic images
• Maintain and operate imaging apparatus, reporting any deficiencies with urgency
• Diligently record procedures and manage patient histories in the electronic medical record system
• Keep abreast of the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and methodologies

Education and Credentials

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-approved Sonography program is preferred

Required Certifications

• Current registration with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is advantageous
