Technical Problem Author (Multi-Domain)

Shape how next-generation AI systems reason about real engineering challenges by authoring, evaluating, and clarifying advanced technical problems across disciplines including aerodynamics, materials science, CAD and mechanical design, circuit design, and mechanical engineering. Your domain expertise, rather than prior AI experience, is central to this remote contract opportunity. Key Responsibilities

• Author and evaluate advanced technical problems within your engineering specialty.
• Review AI-generated technical responses for correctness, accuracy, and engineering relevance.
• Apply practical judgment to design, analysis, failure, and theoretical problem scenarios.
• Analyze complex domain-specific issues, identify ambiguities, and propose clear technical conditions and clarifications.
• Provide structured feedback and clear written and verbal explanations that improve AI learning and reasoning.
• Collaborate remotely with technical experts and project participants, and document insights and recommendations to refine problem statements and model performance.

• Advanced degree, MS or PhD, in a relevant engineering discipline, or substantial industry experience.
• At least 8 years of experience for aerodynamics, circuit design, or mechanical engineering, or at least 5 years for CAD or mechanical design.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in your specialty, such as mechanical design, aerodynamic analysis, materials selection, or circuit and system development.
• A record of technical problem authoring, such as olympiad problem committees, licensure-exam item writing, academic qualifying-exam authorship, standards committee work, or technical competition leadership.
• Flagship publications, patents, industry awards, competition results, or committee service demonstrating technical rigor.
• Professional English proficiency and exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with relevant engineering tools, including AutoCAD, CAD suites, CFD or FEA software, EDA tools, or lab equipment.
• Ability to work independently and remotely while delivering high-quality work within required timelines.

• Remote, independent contractor engagement.
• Work is output-based and paid per task that meets project specifications. Completion time may vary by experience and workflow.
• Minimum submission requirements apply, including a minimum number of tasks submitted each week.
• If selected, you should be prepared to begin your first tasks within 24 to 48 hours after completing onboarding.

$80 to $110 per hour. Payment is based on qualifying completed tasks.
