Job Description

We are hiring a Family Law Attorney to serve clients throughout the Gaylord area and surrounding Northern Michigan communities, including Petoskey, Charlevoix, and the I-75 corridor.

This role offers remote flexibility with local court coverage responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Manage family law cases from intake through resolution
Appear in court across the Gaylord region and surrounding counties
Advise clients on custody, divorce, parenting time, and support matters
Draft and file legal documents with accuracy and efficiency
Work independently while supported by a collaborative team

Qualifications

Active Michigan bar license
Experience in family law litigation preferred
Comfortable covering a regional footprint (Gaylord and surrounding areas)
Strong communication and case management skills
Self-starter who thrives in a flexible, remote environment
