Prime Comfort Heating And Cooling is a locally-owned residential HVAC company serving the greater Grand Rapids area. We're built on doing things right — high-quality installations, premium work, timely repairs, honest communication, and long-term relationships with our customers. We're growing and looking for a motivated individual who is ready to learn a skilled trade from the ground up.

No HVAC experience required. If you're dependable, hard-working, and eager to build a real career with your hands, we'll invest in training you the right way.

What you'll do

• Work alongside our lead installation technicians on residential HVAC systems (furnaces, A/C, heat pumps)
• Assist with equipment staging, hauling, and setup at job sites
• Help with ductwork, line sets, and equipment connections under tech supervision
• Maintain a clean, professional job site and represent Prime Comfort with pride
• Learn as you go — this role is designed to grow into a full technician position

What we're looking for

• Reliable — you show up on time, every time
• Integrity — commitment to doing it right. No shortcuts here
• Physically able to lift 50+ lbs and work in attics, basements, and crawl spaces
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Any experience in HVAC, construction, or mechanical work is a plus — but we'll train the right person from scratch

What we offer

• $18–$25/hr depending on experience
• Health Insurance, 401k, PTO, and paid holidays – Eligible after 90 days
• Company vehicle for job site travel during work hours
• All major tools provided — you bring the basics, we'll handle the rest
• Paid training and a clear path to advance to Install Technician
• Work with a small, skilled team that takes pride in every job

Schedule

Monday–Friday, standard day shifts with some overtime as needed to complete assigned work. Saturday availability as needed during peak seasons.
