Academic Rheumatologist

Job Description Job Description The Department of Medicine at our organization is in search of a full-time Academic Rheumatologist (Assistant or Associate Professor) to become a part of our Division of Rheumatology. This role provides a chance to engage in comprehensive rheumatology practice within a collaborative and academically driven setting. Position Overview: Outpatient rheumatology practice addressing a wide array of autoimmune and musculoskeletal disorders. Responsibilities include inpatient consultation services. Engagement in multidisciplinary clinics and innovative care models. Exposure to a variety of complex rheumatologic conditions. A vibrant academic atmosphere with opportunities to educate medical students, residents, and fellows. Possibilities to initiate or take part in clinical and/or translational research. Collaborative care approach involving Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), nursing staff, and support personnel. Desired Qualifications: MD/DO or equivalent degree with board certification or eligibility in Rheumatology. Proven clinical proficiency in managing rheumatologic diseases. A strong dedication to medical education and mentorship. Interest or experience in clinical research is highly valued. Eligibility for a faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. Qualifications for medical licensure in New York State.
