We are currently seeking Advanced Practice Providers (NPs or PAs) to join our collaborative team of urgent care providers at our NowCare Urgent Cares. NowCare operates seven convenient locations throughout Southeast, Virginia including the areas of Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Norfolk and Suffolk, providing walk-in urgent care services seven days a week from 8:00am to 8:00pm. Our team provides high-quality, patient-centered care for a wide range of acute illness an injury in a modern, efficient outpatient setting. What we offer: Hiring Range: $115,000-$145,000 Actual pay depends on specialty, experience, schedule, and job duties Performance incentives Flexible work/life balance Second-largest EMR platform - eClinicalWorks (eCW) Full Medical Benefits: Health, Dental, and Vision 401K Retirement Professional allowance Paid time off Signing Bonus Malpractice and tail coverage Responsibilities: As an Advanced Practice Provider at NowCare Urgent Care, you will provide comprehensive, longitudinal patient-centered care in a fast-paced outpatient setting while collaborating with an experienced multidisciplinary team. You must be comfortable providing care to patients of all ages . Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of acute illness and injuries for patients of all ages Perform comprehensive medical evaluations including patient histories and physical examinations Order, interpret, and manage diagnostic studies, including laboratory testing, EKGs, and X-rays Develop evidence-based treatment plans and prescribe medications in accordance with current clinical guidelines Perform common urgent care procedures: o Laceration repair (suturing/stapling) o Incision and drainage o Splinting and basic orthopedic care o Foreign body removal o Splinting and basic orthopedic care o Wound care and dressing changes Work collaboratively with physicians, other APPs, nurses, radiologic technologists, and support staff Obtain and maintain DOT Medical Examiner Certification (or be willing to obtain upon hire) Perform DOT physical examinations and complete all required documentation Perform occupational health services, including; o Urine drug screens (UDS) o Breath alcohol testing o Chain of custody specimen collection and documentation o Return to work and work-related injury evaluations Practice Highlights Strong commitment to patient centric value-based care A multidisciplinary team of 300+ physicians and advanced practice providers, including; Cardiology, Pulmonary, Dermatology, Sleep Medicine, OB/GYN, Surgery, and many additional specialties Practice within an established, integrated healthcare network featuring: o 75+ outpatient clinics o 7 Urgent Cares o Advanced Imaging o Ambulatory Surgery Center o Sleep Lab Center o Outpatient Cardiac & Pulmonology testing Exceptional Careers Meet Coastal Living Discover an exceptional quality of life in one of the East Coast's most desirable regions A variety of residential options, from vibrant urban neighborhoods to waterfront and suburban communities Affordable cost of living with safe, family- friendly neighborhoods Highly regarded public, private and higher education institutions Culturally diverse, welcoming communities with a rich cultural and arts scene Year-round recreational opportunities, including beaches, boating, parks, golf, and outdoor activities Convenient access to domestic and international travel through a user-friendly internal airport #J-18808-Ljbffr
