Product Marketing ManagerBerlin, BE, GermanyAbout the Job Product Marketing ManagerA cutting-edge cross-chain smart contract platform is seeking to bring in an experienced and commercially focused Product Marketing Manager with experience in blockchain/crypto projects, ideally in the Polkadot ecosystem.This is a chance to bring your experience across marketing, design and community engagement, to create a full marketing strategy for growth and scale-up.The RoleThis remote role will report directly to Head of Marketing, you will create and manage Product Marketing strategy defining how to shape the offering that is being built by the Engineering team for the target audiences which include: developer houses, future investors/token holders, enterprise, entrepreneurs, and the general public.In summary you will understand the target audience, segment them, position the product and define a targeting strategy helping to ensure the success and direction of this highly innovative and well backed platform, bringing something new and exciting to the sector.Key DutiesCollaborate with the Head of Marketing on the creation of the Marketing Strategy and Go-to-Market planCreate a product marketing strategy for creating a strong value proposition that will ensure product-market fit, driving product uptake and adoptionUse marketing research, competitive analysis, insights from the community and investors, and other sources to map the ecosystem, uncover deep customer needs, and define product positioning and targetingLeverage data and customer insights to recommend current and future growth opportunities, including new functionality, new distribution opportunities, and CX improvementsLiaise product information about the company with partners such as exchanges and referral websites like Coinmarketcap and CoingeckoProvide regular reports and insights to the wider Marketing team and LeadershipThe Successful CandidateThis role will suit a Marketing expert who lives and breathes blockchain, who has worked on best Marketing strategy and growth for Web3 focussed companies.2+ years of Product Marketing experience with blockchain/Web3 projects AND/OR 4+ years of experience in Product Marketing for Web2 companiesKeen interest in Crypto and blockchain, as well as deep knowledge of different protocol strategies and positioningDeep experience in setting marketing strategies and go-to-market strategies, ideally in crypto or fintechExcellent written and spoken EnglishBe process-driven, detail-oriented but also pragmatic and service-focusedBe willing to work in a remote, distributed teamThe RewardA chance to join a genuine game changer in the blockchain space.
