Job Summary Responsible for the delivery of respiratory care services to the in-patient, out-patient, clinic, and emergency room population. In addition, responsible for participation in and/or the development of departmental policy and procedure formulation and quality improvement activities. Position Details Department: Fair Lawn PFT Lab Location: Fair Lawn Status: Per Diem Shift: Days Hours: Variable Job Essentials Resposible for the delivery of respiratory care services in an out patint clinic setting. Principal Duties & Responsibilities Assures a high quality delivery of respiratory care services based on current knowledge and standards of practice in the field and guided by departmental policy and procedure. Assures appropriate , efficient and accurate delivery of respiratory care services in varied levels of workload and conditions Undertstands and practices proper laboratory and testing skills and principles Communicates in a clear ,direct, respectful and professional manner at all times;patient and work related information through shift report and other mechanisms. Participates in new employee orientation and training Demonstrates safe and risk reduction practices in all activities,which includes adherence to policies and procedures ,such as universal precautions(hand washing)and proper equiptment cleaning. Performs other duties as required Demonstrates ability to accept new assignment and challenges Participates in quality improvement activite Education Requirements Associates or Bachelor's degreee License/Certification/Registry NJ Licensed Respiratory Therapist Pay and Benefits Minimum rate: 45.00 Englewood Health job postings provide a minimum rate to comply with New Jersey Law.
