Job Description:

- Join a dedicated team as you assist surgeons and anesthesiologists, playing a vital role in ensuring successful surgical procedures.
- Contribute to patient safety throughout the perioperative phase of care while participating in care planning and assessment.
- Engage in an array of essential duties, including:
- Circulating in the Operating Room and applying aseptic techniques effectively.
- Operating all routine equipment and preparing patients for surgery.
- Performing comprehensive pre, intra, and post-procedure patient assessments.
- Safely managing biohazardous materials and adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Accessing facility information systems to support effective patient care.

Qualifications:


- Education:
- Associate Degree in Nursing (A.S.) required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of recent full-time experience in the operating room.
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Current RN license in the state of practice required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred.
- Certified Nurse, Operating Room (CNOR) preferred.


Key Requirements:


- Availability for Day/Evening shifts, typically Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM to 8:30 PM.
- Call rotation required: at least 1 night per week and 1 weekend.
- Experience in Ortho, Neuro, and Trauma preferred.
- Familiarity with Epic system is essential.
