We are seeking a Senior Firewall Administrator to oversee the firewall team, plan and manage projects, and ensure efficient resource utilization and timely reporting. Responsibilities Supervise the firewall team, including project planning and management. Resolve problems, allocate resources, manage personnel, and monitor performance, following government directives. Develop requirements from inception to completion under general supervision. Maintain knowledge of industry-standard network environments, firewall/security hardware/software, and IA best practices. Create specifications for simple to moderately complex issues. Coordinate with third-party vendors and government representatives to ensure technical accuracy and user satisfaction. Deep understanding of LAN and WAN operations. Use incident ticket tracking systems for incident management and work orders. Comply with DoD and DLA security regulations, guidelines, and policies, including IA standards. Install, configure, and maintain network equipment such as firewalls and appliances. Qualifications US Citizenship and current DoD Secret clearance. At least 5 years of relevant experience with network environments, firewalls, security hardware/software, and IA practices. Knowledge of LAN/WAN operations and incident ticket systems. Understanding of DoD and DLA security policies. Experience with network device installation, configuration, and maintenance. Certifications One of the following: CCSA, CCSE, CCSM. One of the following IAT-II certifications: CCNA Security, CYSA+, GSEC, Security+CE, SSCP, CASP+CE, CISA, CISSP, CCNP Security. Additional Details This is a remote position within the U.S. Salary: $120,000 - $130,000. This role is part of a future pipeline supporting a DoD customer.
