Work Environment\nThis position is primarily conducted via telehealth, allowing for flexibility and adaptability in your work schedule. Full-time employees typically work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, contributing to a healthy work-life balance. Telehealth tools will be utilized to provide patient care efficiently, ensuring that you have the resources necessary to serve your patients effectively from the comfort of your home.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough initial evaluations to identify individual patient needs and establish personalized treatment plans. This includes assessing emotional disturbances, mental health conditions, and trauma history. \n
- Engage in active listening during patient sessions, providing a supportive environment in which patients feel safe to discuss their issues and concerns. \n
- Monitor patient progress consistently, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to better meet evolving needs and ensure optimal recovery. \n
- Educate patients and their families on effective coping strategies for managing stress and trauma, arming them with the tools needed for self-sufficient mental wellness. \n
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, social services, and community outreach programs to address the comprehensive needs of patients and coordinate additional care services. \n
- Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education activities to maintain certification and stay abreast of the latest therapeutic practices and methodologies. \n
- Document patient interactions and treatment plans meticulously in our electronic medical record (EMR) system, ensuring compliance with best practices and confidentiality protocols. \n
- Advocate for patients based on their needs, helping them to access community resources that promote health and well-being. \n
Our primary focus is on individuals who have experienced trauma-induced mental and emotional distress. With a growing recognition of the need for specialized care in mental health, particularly following traumatic events, you will work closely with a diverse patient demographic. This role involves understanding trauma's profound impacts and employing evidence-based strategies tailored to facilitate recovery and promote resilience.
Qualifications\n- \n
- Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field. \n
- A valid Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) credential from an accredited board. \n
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience working directly with trauma patients, demonstrating competency in therapeutic modalities related to trauma recovery. \n
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort with telehealth technologies and electronic medical records (EMR). \n
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on building rapport with patients. \n

- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar patient management systems is a distinct advantage. \n
- Experience developing workshops or educational resources aimed at promoting mental health awareness and coping strategies is also a plus. \n
The Center for Minds and Emotions Services offers a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 – 140,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
