HR Manager

Location : Onsite at client's corporate HQ in Las Vegas, NV

Salary : $70-90K + bonus

OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an HR Manager to support payroll operations, HR administration, office management, and executive support within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

This is a hands-on position that blends HR coordination, compliance support, payroll administration, facilities management, and daily operational execution. The role involves managing contractor onboarding, payroll scheduling, employee benefits, HR systems, compensation processes, and workplace operations, while serving as a key internal resource for employee support, compliance coordination, and executive administrative functions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Payroll Management

• Assist the General Counsel and Executive Business Manager in ensuring contractor agreements are signed prior to live events
• Distribute contractor payroll schedules
• Support the management of temporary staff cycles, ensuring proper onboarding into payroll systems
• Provide administrative and documentation support for salary and bonus reviews, including calculations and payouts

HR & Company Programs

• Oversee the company’s premium health benefits program, ensuring employees are informed and properly enrolled
• Administer the corporate 401(k) / Profit Sharing program, ensuring communication and enrollment
• Manage corporate credit cards (e.g., Chase and AMEX), including tracking company and personal spend accounts
• Serve as a central point of contact for employee questions regarding these services, directing inquiries to IT or other HR team members as needed
• Update, revise, and distribute the Employee Handbook

HR Document Administration

• Maintain detailed records of receipts, invoices, and executive purchases
• Ensure the Deel HRIS (or equivalent platform) and HR dashboards are consistently updated in real time
• Manage and securely track shared HR/Admin login credentials and passwords
• Create process improvement documentation to support cross-training and coverage during absences

HR Compliance & Employment Administration

• Ensure company adherence to applicable employment laws, health and safety regulations, and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate workplace health and safety administration, including incident reporting, required postings, training coordination, and maintaining compliance documentation in alignment with state and federal regulations
• Collaborate with leadership and external advisors to support HR compliance efforts, including audits, investigations, employee relations documentation, and risk mitigation processes

REQUIREMENTS:

• Demonstrated experience (4 years) in payroll processing and HR administration within Nevada (or a similar state)
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and shift between administrative responsibilities and hands-on office operations
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment (experience in gaming, hospitality, or sports is a plus)
• Experience with Deel or similar HRIS platforms (e.g., Gusto, ADP, Paylocity)
