Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days | Monday–Friday | 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM | On-Call Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 perioperative nursing care in an active operating room environment
• Support a range of surgical procedures including neurosurgery, urology, general surgery, colorectal, plastics, podiatry, ENT, and orthopedics
• Operate and assist with specialized surgical equipment including BrainLab, da Vinci robotic system, and surgical microscopes
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
• Participate in mandatory call shifts based on unit needs, including weekday call (3:00 PM – 7:00 AM) and weekend call (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Float to additional OR areas as needed based on unit requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum 1 year of operating room nursing experience
• Ability to fulfill mandatory on-call requirements including weekends
• Compliance with hospital surgical services policies and dress code (hospital-provided scrubs)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) in addition to RN credentials
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR
• Experience with robotic-assisted surgery, including da Vinci systems
