Retail Shift Leader

Position Overview We are seeking a Retail Shift Leader (Key Holder) at EZPAWN located at 4420 Blanding Ave., Jacksonville, FL 32210. Pay ranges from $15 to $17 per hour based on experience, with opportunities for quick increases and an uncapped bonus potential. The role includes a comprehensive paid training program, a structured career path to Lead Pawnbroker, and the possibility of advancing to Assistant Manager. Responsibilities Process loans and extensions, negotiating terms with customers. Perform opening and closing store procedures. Supervise, coach, and develop store team members. Provide outstanding customer service and build solid relationships. Promote sales, upsell, and handle a variety of pawn items. Maintain a friendly, courteous, and respectful store environment. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience (key holder, shift lead, team lead, or manager). Strong leadership, negotiation, and organizational skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer‑relationship skills. Ability to read and manage customer needs, prioritize tasks, and exercise excellent judgment. Valid driver’s license and auto insurance. Pass a criminal background check and drug test. Knowledge of commonly pawned items (tools, jewelry, firearms, electronics) is a plus.
