(Physician/MD qualifications required) Internal Medicine - One of the largest physician-owned multispecialty groups in Connecticut is seeking an Internal Medicine | Primary Care physician to join a dedicated group of providers in the New Britain clinic. The New Britain office is a large multi-specialty shared office space with Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology, Endocrinology, Hematology & Oncology, OB|GYN, and Pediatrics with both labs and radiology on site. This office houses two different pods of primary care providers and when fully staffed can support over 12 full time providers. The need for this location is primarily due to succession planning and recent departures due to retirement. The incoming candidate will step into an existing patient panel and will be able to ramp up quickly. Physicians typically work a Monday through Friday schedule with no weekends, and shared call of 1:15 (including one weekend of call approximately every three months). The option for a four-day work week is available. The group is a large, private, physician-owned corporation providing comprehensive and specialty healthcare services to patients in the Central Connecticut area. has over 300 physicians and advanced practitioners in other specialties in addition to this group.
