Work Environment This position is fully remote, allowing you to engage clients effectively from home while also coordinating with school staff to address the mental health needs of the student population. Key Responsibilities Provide individual and group therapy sessions to students diagnosed with major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders, focusing on therapeutic techniques that promote recovery and resilience. Conduct thorough assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions tailored to the unique needs of each student. Collaborate effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team, facilitating communication among counselors, teachers, parents, and other community resources to support the holistic needs of clients. Actively participate in case management activities, including maintaining accurate documentation, monitoring client progress, and adapting treatment plans as necessary. Engage in ongoing professional development and supervision, focusing on enhancing therapeutic skills and staying updated on best practices in mental healthcare. Participate in community outreach initiatives to raise awareness about mental health resources and reduce stigma around seeking counseling services. Patient Population / Client Focus The LCSW will primarily focus on a diverse student population exhibiting varying degrees of behavioral challenges and emotional distress. This role involves working closely with children and adolescents who may be facing issues related to anxiety, depression, trauma, and other emotional disturbances. Our goal is to create a safe, inclusive environment where students feel empowered to discuss their mental health challenges and seek support. Qualifications Required: A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) designation in Arizona. Strong foundational knowledge in assessment techniques, diagnosis, treatment modalities, risk assessment, and crisis management applicable to young populations. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, families, and educational staff. Demonstrated organizational and time management skills to maintain a robust caseload and meet treatment goals consistently. Preferred Experience At least 2 years of clinical experience in a social work or mental health setting, preferably within educational or youth-focused environments. Experience collaborating with diverse populations and utilizing culturally appropriate therapeutic approaches.
