Job Description
MRI Technologist

Unit Information

Location: Fort Pierce, FL

Number of Beds: 1 MRI Scanner, 1 table
Staffing: 1 Technologist working 24 hours a day, 12-hour shifts
Patient Ratios: 1:1
Equipment: GE, 1.5, Discovery 450
EMR: Meditech

Role Responsibilities

Perform MRI scans to produce detailed images of internal body structures.
Ensure patient safety and comfort during the imaging process.

Qualifications

Required:
- BLS certification
- ARRT certification
Preferred:
- ACLS certification (not required)

Critical thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.
Flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances.
Ability to work independently.
Willingness to work weekends and nights.

Dress Code

All staff are required to wear black scrubs.

Awards and Recognition

Accredited by the Joint Commission.
Designated as a Certified Primary Stroke Center.
5-star recipient for heart attack treatment for 11 consecutive years.

Experience Requirement

Minimum of 2 years of experience in MRI technology is required.
