Athletic Pursuit Physical Therapy is a fast-growing, out-of-network clinic dedicated to bridging the gap between rehabilitation and athletic performance. We believe in quality over quantity. Because we operate entirely outside of the insurance model, our care is never dictated by what coverage allows, giving our clinicians full clinical autonomy to focus entirely on patient outcomes rather than rushed schedules and endless paperwork.

We specialize in treating highly motivated athletes and active adults who are proactive about their long-term health. Our diverse patient population ranges from middle and high school standouts to collegiate and NFL athletes, as well as local runners, golfers, tennis/pickleball players, CrossFitters, and bodybuilders. Due to the continued growth of our practice over the last two years, we are expanding our team.

Position Overview

Are you tired of the 20+ patient-a-day grind and a never-ending stack of notes to finish when you get home? We are seeking a driven, performance-minded Physical Therapist with a true growth mindset who wants to fall in love with the profession again.

This role is designed for an extraordinary clinician who isn't looking to just clock in, clock out, and coast. We want a teammate who is passionate about delivering premium, 1-on-1 care, mastering advanced manual techniques, and confidently taking motivated clients completely past traditional rehab into peak performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Care: Perform comprehensive evaluations and deliver evidence-based, whole-body treatment plans tailored to sports and orthopedic populations.
• Clinical Execution: Provide high-level, hands-on intervention including advanced manual therapy, therapeutic exercise prescription, and functional performance training.
• Patient Education: Educate and empower clients on proactive health strategies, structural resiliency, and the true value of long-term injury prevention.
• Community Engagement: Connect and collaborate with local gyms, fitness studios, and athletic coaches to build professional relationships and represent the brand.
• Operations: Maintain clean, efficient, and timely clinical documentation within our performance-based model.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from a CAPTE-accredited institution.
• Licensure: Active and unrestricted license to practice physical therapy in the state of Texas.
• Experience: At least 1–3 years of experience in an orthopedic or sports medicine setting (this is not a new graduate position).
• Clinical Skills: Strong background in sports-focused therapy and post-operative rehab.
• Preferred Certifications: Certification or high proficiency in Dry Needling and Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) training is strongly preferred. Additional certifications (CSCS, CFSC, SFMA) are a plus.
