Maverick Trading is hiring a fully remote Equity & Options Trader open to applicants in Stafford, VA. We are a 25+ year proprietary trading firm that allocates firm capital to disciplined traders and scales buying power based on performance and risk management. Trading from the Mid-Atlantic: Trade US market hours from your local time zone - the NYSE opens at 9:30am local. The Mid-Atlantic sits squarely in Eastern Time, which means the NYSE bell rings at 9:30am local - no schedule arbitrage, no overnight gymnastics, just the same trading day as Wall Street. This is not a challenge account. Not a demo evaluation. We provide structured capital allocation for traders who want a professional path to scaling capital. What you will do: Trade equities and options within defined risk parameters Follow a structured, rules-based risk management approach Build consistency and scale capital based on performance Why options: Options allow traders to define risk, hedge exposures, and structure trades beyond simple directional stock positions. Maverick is one of the few proprietary trading firms that actively trades options as a core part of its trading approach.
