Senior Accountant

A rapidly growing healthcare services organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its corporate accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys owning month-end close activities, financial reporting, and process improvement while working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in U.S. GAAP , experience preparing financial statements and account reconciliations, and the ability to analyze financial data to support business decisions. This is a contract (3-6 months), hybrid position that can start very quickly. W2 applicants only. No C2C or third-party submissions. What You'll Do Prepare and post monthly journal entries Perform bank and balance sheet account reconciliations Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes Prepare financial statements and management reporting packages Analyze revenue, expense, and balance sheet activity Conduct variance and flux analyses Assist with external audits and regulatory reporting requirements Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls Maintain accurate financial records and support ad hoc accounting projects Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field CPA or actively pursuing CPA preferred 3+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP Experience preparing financial statements and account reconciliations Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large, complex spreadsheets Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment Why Consider This Opportunity?
