Identify, gather, and synthesize existing interdisciplinary research related to whole person health across the University of Denver. Assistin preparing proposals, white papers, grant materials, and communications that position KIHA as a leader in wholepersonhealth. Support all KIHAcommunity events, workshops, and integrative health activities that promote healthy aging and lifelong well-being. Represent the initiative at meetings, community forums, and campus events. Support recruitment, enrollment, and retention for educational offerings. Monitor national developments in integrative health and whole person health to inform ongoing program innovation. Researchapplicablefunding opportunities and support team in proposals for grants, and other sources of funding. Knowledge,Skillsand Abilities Ability toestablishand maintain effective working relationships. Ability to coordinate diverse administrative functions. Community organizing skills for outreach, community engagement, and research recruitment. Initiative, follow-through, and reliability. Flexibility for working hours. Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point). Must be an adaptable, multi-tasking, problem-solver while showing flexibility and being an independent worker. Solid written and verbal communication skills. Superior interpersonal skills. Required Qualifications Higher educationin social work, gerontology, or other related agingfield. Experience in basic administrative tasks. Interestin learning about the challenges ofwhole person health,diverse populations, and social determinants of health. Preferred Qualifications Pursuing amaster’s degree in social work, gerontology, or other related agingfield. Ability to prepare and present community education on behalf of the program. Experience working with programming for older adults and aging populations. Career interest inwhole personhealth, well-being, aging, and research. Previousexperience working withcommunity outreach. Standard office environment. Noiselevel is moderate to high. Physical Activities. Ability to sit in front of a computer for an extendedperiod. Occasionally required to move about the office/campus with the capability of transporting objects up to 20 lbs. withassistance.
