Maintenance Engineer

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Minimum of Five (5) years' experience in facilities maintenance with thorough understanding of Building Automation Systems, electrical systems, controls, condensing boilers, package rooftop HVAC, variable air volume systems, chemical treatment, emergency generation equipment, plumbing, transfer switches and life safety systems. Performs assigned repairs and building upkeep duties as needed, including periodic pressure washing and leaf blowing. Executes emergency and preventive maintenance in a timely manner. Completes maintenance and repair records as required. Completes assigned work orders promptly. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Basic skills with Microsoft Office. Uses personal computer and smartphone for work order system and email. Excellent organization, verbal, written and multi-tasking skills. Ability to read blueprints. Must take ownership of work, be flexible, and create a positive and welcoming impression. Must be self-sufficient, a team player. Ability to lift 50 pounds and climb ladders.
