Farm Office AssistantThe Farm Office Assistant is responsible for the daily office work including assistance to employees on the farm, orientation for new hires, feedEssential Responsibilities:Review and process all invoices for approval from managerProvide data input of cattle information into PCDart and enter feed information using TMR TrackerComplete daily DTD and HTD reports and provide documentation as neededMaintain and complete all organic records and reconciliations in a timely mannerObtain and organize incoming or outgoing animal documentation and records reconciliationProvide assistance with organizing meetings, vet checks, inventory or other requests as neededFacilitate new hire orientation, assign required training, complete all new hire paperwork for HRComplete documentation for payrollMonth End reports as needed (Maintenance reports/fuel/compost/supplies/cafo updates)Other duties as assigned.Other Required Responsibilities:Assist Farm Manager and supervisors in ensuring new hires are welcome and get acclimated to their work environmentAssist Truck drivers as they come in with loadsProvide customer service to visitors, applicants, guestsKnowledge and Experience:High School or GED requiredBilingual (Spanish) RequiredComputer skills, use of Microsoft Office, knowledge in Excel is a mustExperience in agriculture preferredMinimum 1-2 years' experience in office environment preferred.Must possess a valid driver's license, have reliable mode of transportationPhysical Requirements:Must be able to sit for extended periods of time; be able to bend, stoop, kneel or crawl; reach grasp and lift up to 25lbs occasionally. Available for regular scheduled travel to remote facilities via automobile or airline. Ability to adapt in different office environments.
