Description: Position/Specialty: CT Tech Shift: 2:45 PM to 10:45 PM Daily Caseload per tech: Inpatient, outpatient, neuro, full body, cancer, stroke, lung screening. There are 4 scanners in-house with an approximate daily patient load of 100. First-timers are accepted. Weekend shifts may be required if willing/able to pick up open shifts. On-call responsibility is required if willing to take call on weekdays and weekends. The current staff is picking up extra shifts due to limited staffing. Clinicians may float within their scope to meet facility needs. Floater assignments may also include nearby facilities as needed. Local candidates are accepted. RTO restrictions ideally should not exceed 5 days. The client may cancel up to 3 shifts without penalty or obligation to pay for such cancellations. On-call hours do not count towards guaranteed minimum hours. Inpatient and ER experience is required. General skills required include proficiency with PACS and the administration of contrast media. The facility is a short-term acute care hospital with 672 total staffed beds. Staff are required to wear solid gray scrubs. Charting is done using Excellian/Epic. The patient population includes adults and geriatrics. Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation. Special procedures and unit details include a diverse caseload consisting of inpatient, outpatient, neuro, full body, cancer, stroke, and lung screening cases. Candidates must ensure compliance with state requirements including background checks and fingerprinting. Each candidate may only be submitted to one position at a time. References from at least one supervisor are required at the time of application. Candidates should communicate any vacation plans during the period between signing and starting to ensure realistic start dates.
