Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 12-Hour Shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Circulate in a high-acuity operating room environment supporting multiple surgical specialties within a Level One Trauma Center
• Independently navigate multiple vendors and equipment platforms including Storz, Stryker, Olympus, and the Intuitive Robotic system
• Proficiently circulate complicated total joint revisions, robotic-assisted procedures, and orthopedic poly traumas
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio throughout all surgical cases
• Participate in a 1:4 weekend rotation on 12-hour shifts
• Fulfill call obligations including one overnight trauma call (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM) ; specialty team call scheduled per team rules (Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular, Neuro, Ortho)

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in good standing (Maine license or compact eligibility required)
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
• Level One Trauma Center experience required
• Ability to independently manage multiple surgical vendors and navigate complex OR environments
• Proficiency circulating orthopedic total joint revisions, robotics, and ortho poly trauma cases
• Charting proficiency in Epic EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CNOR certification preferred
• Experience in General, GU/GYN, Neurosurgery, ENT, Pediatrics, Plastics, Dental, or Endovascular surgical specialties
• Demonstrated flexibility, accountability, and strong teamwork skills in a fast-paced OR setting
