Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. 8 years of experience programming in C++, Java, Python, Kotlin or Go. 5 years of experience testing, and launching software products. 3 years of experience with software design and architecture. Experience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows. Preferred qualifications: Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Operations Research, or a related technical field. Background in mathematical optimization, constraint solvers (linear programming/mixed-integer programming (LP/MIP)), simulation, or large-scale data pipelines. Industry experience in capacity planning, cloud resource allocation, supply chain modeling, or fleet management systems. Experience leading and growing medium-to-large engineering teams. Act as the primary Tech Lead for the ODM team (~12 SWEs L3-L5), establishing clear architectural boundaries, scalable abstractions, and resilient systems while making technical contributions and designs. Collaborate with various capacity management and planning teams to identify shared efficiency opportunities while keeping the ecosystem reliable. Mentor and elevate a high-performing team of L3–L5 software engineers, delegating high-complexity sub-systems and coaching them through system design and execution.
